Wedding Photography at Carberry Tower by Paul Gavin has been featured in the Scottish Wedding Directory.

The current issue of Real Life Weddings, features the wedding of Rebekah & Simon who were married at this wonderful wedding venue in July 2012.

This was a first visit and opportunity to photograph a wedding at this East Lothian venue and I certainly hope to be back soon. The venue itself offers a a nice balance of interior features and stunning gardens. The winding bridge at the top of the garden is a particularly "stand out" feature of Carberry Tower.

Rebekah, Simon, their family and friends were a joy to photograph and I was delighted with the range of images produced on the day. Thankfully the editor of the Scottish Wedding Directory was impressed with the images too and asked if they could feature a selection of images together with the thoughts of the couple themselves.

It will probably be some time before I write another blog post with a title like the one above.

Some days in the studio are run of the mill, others are a little more unusual............Earlier this week the owner of the top hat and champagne bottle used in the 1981 box office hit movie "Arthur" starring Dudley Moore , Liza Minnelli & John Gielgud popped into the studio.

He asked for a picture or two of the film props before they went off to their new owner in the U.S.A . That was no problem of course, it took only a few minutes........An interesting conversation developed and it turns out that the same man is the custodian of perhaps the worlds most famous film car too.... Yes Chitty Chitty Bang Bang ! as I understand it he intends to make it available in the near future for hire here in Scotland as a wedding car !
